This firmware release incorporates the following new features:
- Improved stereo post-filtering resulting in better stereo performance
- Improved FPGA imager interface
Detailed instructions on how to upgrade the on-board software on the sensor can be found in section 2.6.6 of the ROS driver documentation. Please refer to section 2.6.6 before upgrading, as errors in the upgrade process could place the sensor in a non-functional state.
